Apple finally unveiled its’ latest flagship smartphone on Monday, 21st March putting an end to months of speculation.
Dubbed the iPhone SE, Apple’s latest smartphone features the same processing power as the iPhone 6S while bearing a striking resemblance to the iPhone 5S. Think of it like an iPhone 6S with a 4-inch screen.

Here are the salient features of the iPhone SE.
1. Processor
The iPhone SE sports a 64-bit Apple A9 processor together with an embedded M9 motion co-processor, the same as the iPhone 6S. The A9 chipset contains a 1.8GHz dual-cor processor and is coupled with 2GB of RAM for smooth performance.
2. Camera
Just like the 6S, the SE packs a 12MP iSight camera with a dual-tone flash and the ability to shoot Live Photos and 4K videos. It also has a 1.2MP front-facing camera boosted by the Retina Flash.
3. Pricing
The iPhone SE starts at $399 (Sh40,495) for the 16GB model – Apple’s cheapest iPhone yet – and there’s also a 64GB model for $499 (Sh50,644) before tax.
The iPhone SE will go on sale from March 31st 2015 and it will be available locally by the end of April.
